I met Stephanie and Andrew for their engagement pictures at Cleveland Museum of Art. The ultimate goal was to get sunset engagement pictures. But to take full advantage of our time, we decided to do some images before sunset at the Museum and around Wade Oval Park.
Great Location for Engagement Pictures
One of my favorite locations for pictures in Cleveland, Wade Oval Park is popular spot, not only for pictures, but for people to spend time. Near downtown Cleveland, it’s right next to the Cleveland Museum of Art, Severance Hall and a multitude of great locations in Cleveland, I use it every chance that I get for my photography.
We started right at the front entrance. It’s great place to meet and it always has interesting light, which is important for my photos. We worked our way around the museum into Wade Oval. A beautiful, sunny day, the conditions were perfect for my style of photography. Immediately, Stephanie and Andy were great in front of my camera. They had no problem having fun and laughing, which give standard “posed” pictures a lot more of an authentic look.
Sunset Pictures at Huntington Beach
After finishing up at Wade Oval, we headed to Huntington Beach for sunset photos. Huntington Beach is in Bay Village west of Cleveland. This is one of Andy and Stepanie’s favorites locations along Lake Erie. Along the lake, it has wide open sky which is ideal for sunset pictures. We had pretty decent texture in the sky so we were able to get what we wanted.
I’m excited for their wedding day in June and know that we will get some great wedding photos. Here are just a few of my favorites from their engagement session.
