Keith, Eden and I decided to start their engagement pictures at Cleveland Museum of Art. The museum is located in such a great area for pictures. It is connected to Wade Oval Park, right next to Case Western Reserve University, both of which we used. It’s also by the Cleveland Botanical Gardens and The Cleveland Cultural Gardens.
Engagement Pictures at Cleveland Museum of Art
We met at the entrance. It is the ideal place because its centrally located and easily accessible via GPS. Keith and Eden were fantastic right from the start. A big part of the engagement session is getting my clients comfortable in front of my camera. Since a big part of my style for weddings is photojournalistic, I need my clients to be comfortable with me and my camera being around them all day. On their wedding day, when it really counts, they can be less nervous about having a camera around all day.
They both had fun and laughed during their pictures. It certainly made my job easy. They both, obviously, love each other and are best friends. That is what I want to capture when photographing them in engagement pictures.
We worked our way around the Cleveland Museum of Art as well as getting pictures in Wade Oval Park. I love the Case Western Reserve campus and always try to use the beautiful buildings the line East Blvd. next to Severance Hall.
I am super excited to have been chosen as their wedding photographer. After their engagement session at the museum, I know that they will be great on their wedding day. I am very much looking forward to it.
