Beautiful Wedding Ceremony at Stan Hywet

Stan Hywet is, literally, right down the road from Portage Country Club. It is one of the iconic wedding venues in Akron and I always enjoy weddings there. The weather was absolutely perfect for an outdoor wedding. Dave and Jillian had the ceremony on the West Terrace at Stan Hywet, the most popular spot on the property for ceremonies. After a brief but beautiful ceremony and some pictures around the property, it was onto their wedding reception at Portage Country Club.

Portage Country Club is beautiful unto itself. Add just a few details for the reception and its that much more. Dj Sparky B and Rock the House Entertainment handled the MC and Dj duties and did a great job. The staff at the country club were great with all of the details and Chrissy made sure that everything was in place for a great night.

I want to thank Jillian and Dave for allowing me to document their wedding day. I want to thank Jillian’s mom for referring them to me. Their wedding party and families were great as well.
