Emma decided to do wedding pictures at Kimpton Schofield Hotel on the day of her hair and make-up trial, which was two days before her wedding. I offer this session as a way of allowing my brides to get a lot of the “posed” or creative wedding pictures finished before the wedding day. This opens up the wedding day timeline and also provides her with more wedding pictures. With a timeline free of a lot of the obligatory creative pictures, there is more room for authentic, candid wedding pictures.
Pre-Wedding Bridal Pictures
This pre-ceremony bridal photo session also allows my brides to put their wedding dress on. I mean, they normally would only get to wear the dress once, so this is another opportunity. A dress rehearsal in a way. She can move around in her dress and make sure that it will work perfectly on her wedding day.
As I mentioned, Emma had her bridal session two days before her wedding day. She and her husband both live out of town so there really was no other alternative. But it worked out great because, I think, it added to the excitement of the day.
Using the Kimpton Schofield on the Wedding Day
She had a room at the Kimpton Schofield already reserved since that was where she was staying while in town. She would be getting ready on her wedding day there, so it was perfect for her bridal session.
I really wanted to feature the space and the city of Cleveland in Emma’s pictures. I think that we accomplished that and Emma was just fantastic.
