Wedding Ceremony at The Chapel in Akron
Being at a wedding at the The Chapel in Akron on a wedding day and the church being completely empty was a surreal experience. Wedding days normally have a linear sense of tension throughout. It’s a wedding day. Tension and nerves are normal. But that was not the case on this day. It was nice and relaxed. Mary Ellen, the coordinator at The Chapel in Akron was exceptionally helpful. It was such a pleasant and wonderful experience.
Wedding Pictures at O’Neil House in Akron
After the wedding ceremony, we headed to O’Neil House in Akron, Ohio for some groups photos and some creative wedding pictures of Michelle and Reid. I LOVE O’Neil House. It is one of my favorite places in Akron for wedding day pictures. Nancy, the proprietor, is a gem and I always recommend this space (my wife, Marie, had her bridal shower there and also had a party for her mom there). We walked around the space and looked for interesting corners of light and texture. Everyone was so great as we utilized this beautiful location.
Coronavirus was not going to deny these two of their wedding ceremony. I am SO glad that it took place and extremely honored to have taken part. They will be having a larger celebration in August when all of their friends and family can participate.
Here are just a few favorites. I’m very much looking forward to their big celebration in 2021.
