I was looking forward to Lilly’s senior pictures in Hale Farm and Village. Lilly had a lot of great ideas for her session and had a definite look in mind for what she wanted. It was a bright and sunny day so that added to the excitement for me on a technical level.
Senior Photos at Hale Farm and Village
Lilly wanted a more pastoral look to her senior photos. “Trees and leaves” is how I generally classify it. Lilly is a senior at Revere High School so I thought that Hale Farm and Village in the Merriman Valley in Akron would be a good place to start. It would be what Lilly was looking for and a good contrast to the urban senior pictures that I do most often in Cleveland. Directly across from Hale Farm was a huge field of Goldenrod. And the sunlight was hitting it wonderfully. It was perfect! We did quite a few images in that area and I was very happy with how they turned out.
We then walked around Hale Farm and ended up with some very good senior pictures that Lilly seemed excited about. The buildings at Hale Farm provided a great backdrop and their texture just added to the aesthetic. Having full Sun helped tremendously in allowing me to create dynamic senior pictures.
Lilly was so great to work with and I think were very successful in capturing her senior portraits in the way that she envisioned. Here are a few of her favorites;
