Yesterday was Ryan and Angie’s wedding day in Canton. We first met over two years ago to discuss my documenting their wedding day. So to say that this day was much anticipated is an understatement.
Well Prepared
All day yesterday, I kept mentioning to my assistant. Kim, and John, the videographer from Beach Boyz Entertainment that Ryan and Angie were so great in front of the camera. This was apparent even at the beginning of their first engagement session. But having those sessions definitely prepared them for their busy day (they did two engagement sessions, one at night in downtown Cleveland and one at Brandywine Falls. It paid off and they were great.
Wedding Day Preparations
Angie’s day started at the Akron/ Canton Airport Hilton where her and her bridesmaids got ready. Angie’s mother was there, as well, to help her out. This made the start to her day very convenient and easy in that she didn’t have all of the running around that would be required if you have multiple locations to attend to. Ryan prepped for the day at his parents house, the house where he grew up. I loved this choice. It makes every single picture that we took there that much more special. It was nice that all of the parents participated in the preparations.
Wedding Day First Look
Ryan and Angie decided to see each other before the wedding ceremony. This is beneficial for many reasons. With a tight wedding day timeline, they could get all of the obligatory wedding pictures finished. They could also eliminate some of the wedding day jitters that usually culminate when the bride and groom traditionally see each other at the altar. I discuss wedding day first look in greater detail -HERE-.
Here are just a few of my favorites from the first half of their wedding day in Canton.
