Greek Wedding in Akron, Ohio // Cleveland Wedding Photographers

Jon and Maria had their Greek wedding in Akron at Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church. The church is located on Union Street in downtown Akron right in the heart of the University of Akron.

Since this was a December wedding in Akron, the cold was expected. But it was REALLY cold. I look at this as, not only a challenge, but an opportunity to get great wedding pictures. But it was so super cold on this day. We kept that outdoor pictures to a minimum.

Like all Greek weddings and all Greek churches, Jon and Maria’s Greek wedding ceremony was gorgeous.

I love all of the Greek wedding traditions. From the Stefana crowns to the ceremonial walk, it is all a great opportunity for pictures during the ceremony.

After the ceremony and after some important family pictures, it was off to their Christmas wedding reception at Firestone Country Club.
