When I found out that Andy and Melissa were having their wedding AND reception at the Tudor Arms Hotel I was very excited. A wedding reception at Tudor Arms is ALWAYS beautiful. But having the wedding there as well makes for a great wedding day. It not only ensures that we have an ideal location all day but it is also super convenient for the guests and bridal party. They show up and don’t have to go anywhere. They can get a room and they are set for the entire wedding weekend.
Plus, the Tudor Arms is one of the most elegant wedding spaces in Cleveland.
Melissa started her day getting ready in the Juliette room. She planned seeing Andy for the first time before their wedding ceremony. This allows them to enjoy each other more. They’re a little less nervous since they can see each other alone. And, get the majority of the obligatory wedding day pictures out of the way. That way, after their ceremony, they have more time to spend with family and friends.
We also decided to keep Melissa’s dad from seeing her until she was completely dressed in her wedding attire. I love it when we do this. It is such an emotional moment. This makes for great moments and great wedding pictures.
The wedding was beautiful. Held in the great room, you can’t help but get dramatic pictures. Chandeliers; rich wood all around. I love weddings at the Tudor Arms. Here are some of my favorites from the wedding ceremony. I will post more images from the wedding reception tomorrow.
