Sometimes the most private and intimate wedding is the best wedding. Elizabeth and Eric loved each other and wanted to get married. But they didn’t want the fanfare of a huge event. The opted to have their immediate family only for a very private wedding ceremony at Geneva-on-the-Lake on Lake Erie.
Wedding Ceremony in Aurora
I had documented Eric’s brother, Drew’s, wedding in Akron and reception at Greystone Hall last year. I was excited when I was contacted by Elizabeth about documenting their wedding. As I mentions, they wanted to forgo the fanfare of a huge event but they said that they wanted beautiful pictures.
When we sat down to plan out their day, they had quite a few picture locations in Cleveland that they wanted to have creative wedding pictures. This was exciting because they had already put a lot of thought into their wedding day pictures.
Cleveland Wedding Pictures
It was REALLY foggy on this day. I was a little excited about it because I knew that it was an opportunity for unique wedding pictures. You really can only look at the weather as an opportunity since it’s the once thing that you cannot control on your wedding day.
After the wedding ceremony, we started with a few pictures at the ceremony site but almost immediately headed back to Cleveland. The spots around the city were important to them. All were iconic in their own way, reflecting things that are distinctly Cleveland. Here are just a few of my favorites from their day.
I want to thank Elizabeth and Eric for including me in their event. It was such and honor.
