Cleveland Arcade
As the Cleveland Arcade website notes, “Opened in 1890 at a cost of $875,000, The Arcade Cleveland was America’s inaugural indoor shopping center. “Cleveland’s Crystal Palace,” as it was known then, is the city’s first building to be listed on the National Register of Historic Places.”
The website further notes, “As the city’s first building listed on the National Register of Historic Places, The Arcade plays a vital part in the architectural history of Cleveland.”
Now the Arcade is one of the jewels of Cleveland. An iconic location for weddings, receptions and proposals.
