It was a cold and rainy day yesterday for Steven and Dana’s wedding at Hilton Hotel in Fairlawn. This would not be a problem however, since almost all of their festivities would be taking place at the Hilton. And, their off site pictures would be indoors at the Akron Art Museum.
Starting the Wedding Day at the Salon
The day started with Dana and her bridesmaids getting their hair done at Nola Salon, right across the street from the hotel. They then had their make-up done in their hotel suite. Steven was just across the hotel in his room. This was great planning on their part since, again, they wouldn’t have to go anywhere except the art museum.
They decided in advance to have a first look and see each other each other before the ceremony. I share my thoughts about a wedding day first look.
Getting Pictures At Hilton Hotel Fairlawn
Dana also wanted a moment when her father sees her in her wedding dress for the first time. This is always a special moment and I always feel honored to be able to document it.
The morning schedule ran like clockwork thanks to the great planning by Eileen of Bridal Consulting by Eileen. The first look between Steven and Dana took place under a patio during a rain shower (that’s good luck!). Here are just a few of my favorites from the first part of their wedding at Hilton Hotel Fairlawn.
