Yesterday I had the honor of capturing Ken and Rachel’s wedding at Squires Castle. Squires Castle is an extremely popular spot in the North Chagrin Reservation. Popular for hikers, family picnics, and PICTURES! Pictures of all kinds but especially weddings and, during the season, high school dances.
Yesterday, Ken and Rachel paid to reserve the Castle for their wedding ceremony. This gave them complete access. However, it is still a public space so the challenges were great. I hope that folks understand, when you see a bride and a guy following her around with a big camera, this takes precedent over your homecoming and cell phone pictures. With that said, Ken and Rachel were awesome.
Led to the wedding ceremony by bagpipes, Rachel’s entrance was very dramatic. The ceremony was short and sweet and we then did the obligatory family pictures. Ken, Rachel, their families and their wedding party were exceptionally patient and easy to work with considering the circumstances and chaos around them. Here are a few of my favorites from their wedding ceremony at Squires Castle. I will post some pictures from their wedding reception tomorrow.
