I met Nick and Samantha for their winter pictures at Cleveland Museum of Art. This is a favorite spot in Cleveland for engagement pictures and wedding pictures, and one of my favorite in the area. The museum is always popular for wedding parties (one showed up while we were there).
Winter Pictures at the Museum
These pictures are in the winter so I wanted most of them to reflect that. Choosing the best areas for light and then making sure that the background and texture shows the snow and bleak trees. It was fun trying to find color in the cold of winter. It was more abundant than one might think if you really looked for it. The area around Cleveland Museum of Art , Wade Oval Park and Case Western Reserve is great for this and it is why I love the area.
Engagement Pictures in Winter
Nick and Sam were great from the beginning. It’s a little stressful when you first step in front of the camera. That is the reason that I always offer an engagement session in my wedding service. Getting my clients comfortable in front of the camera is one of the ways that I prepare them for a successful wedding day. A lot of the photos that I take on the day of are candids, non-posed, so they need to be used the the camera being around all the time. But, as I mentioned, they were very comfortable with each other and in front of the camera and this will be an asset to them on their wedding day.
