After their wedding ceremony, it was time for their party and wedding reception at Greystone Hall Akron. Brooke and Eric had a lot of unique details, not the least of which was the floral arrangements. Designed and constructed by Brooke’s mom, these were beautiful. You could tell that they put a lot of personal touches on their wedding day details.
Greystone Grand Entrance
I’ve done wedding receptions at Greystone and they are always an elegant affair. Built in 1917 for Freemason events and activities, the building is a true jewel in Akron. I go more into that -HERE-. There are a few wedding reception venues in Akron that I love and Greystone is definitely one of them.
Brooke and Eric made their way down the staircase at Greystone to the applause of their wedding guests. Great speeches, nice toasts and a lot of laughs started the evening. They decided to forgo the traditional wedding cake and have wedding donuts (SUCH a great idea). Brooke honored her mother with a dance as did Eric with his sister.
Great Wedding Vendors
Beach Boyz Entertainment kept the dance floor full and, as always, did a super job. The staff at Greystone Hall were fantastic, as usual, and it was a pleasure to, once again, work with Kelly and Christine, the event coordinator and catering manager, respectively.
I want to thank Brooke and Eric for allowing me to document their wedding day. I knew they would be great in their wedding pictures. Their day was perfect. Their wedding party was fun. And their families were accommodating. Here are a few of my favorite pictures from their wedding reception at Greystone.
