As I mentioned in my previous post, having their wedding reception at Columbia Hills Country Club made it easier to get more creative wedding pictures since there was no other locations to consider.

Beautiful Day for a Wedding

They ceremony was held under the patio. This ensured that, in case of inclement weather, there would be no disruptions. It did rain a bit the night before and that morning, but it cleared up and was gorgeous the rest of the day.

After the ceremony and some important family pictures, we did some group photos with the wedding party on the first tee. It was perfect because the sun was exactly where we needed it to be at this time of the day. I LOVE using direct sunlight. The most beautiful light source in the universe 🙂 !

Having their wedding and reception at Columbia Hills Country Club made their day exceptionally convenient for them and their wedding guests. An added bonus was that our post ceremony pictures were very relaxed since we didn’t have to go anywhere. I was also able to utilize Columbia Hills a lot more in the pictures.

Columbia Hills Wedding Reception

I’ve been photographing weddings for almost 20 years and it was my first time at Columbia Hills. This isn’t unusual since there are hundreds of wedding reception venues in northeast Ohio. I understand potential clients being apprehensive when considering a photographer who hasn’t worked at their chosen venue. But it’s a mistake to think that that is a downside. I will let you be the judge in regards to this on my first time at Columbia Hills.

The staff were extremely attentive all day. The wedding coordinator, Jennifer, was tireless making sure that Andy and Stephanie didn’t have to worry about all of the reception details. A great job.

Eric (The Bearded DJ) of CLE Music Group was extremely professional and kept the guests partying until the very end of the night. I highly recommend him and CLE Music Group.
