Kristin and Jon decided that they wanted post ceremony pictures at their wedding reception at Columbia Ballroom. A beautiful, rustic location, Columbia ballroom offers a great opportunity for beautiful wedding day photos.
It was a bright and sunny day. Just the way that I like it. We spend most of our time doing pictures behind the ballroom. For me it had the most rustic feel. We didn’t have time to explore the property like I would have liked to but we still got great pictures.
The wedding reception itself was big fun. The bridal party really kept that party going since most of them never left the dancefloor the entire time. Columbia Ballroom is so spacious the guests had plenty of room to move around even with the huge dancefloor. For a wedding photographer, at least on this day, the light that was coming in from the windows offered a great accent to my existing lights. It gave everything more dimension and depth, in my opinion.
The staff at the Columbia Ballroom did a fantastic job of taking care of the bride groom.
