It not often for me to have clients ceremony and wedding reception at Stan Hywet. It’s such a wonderful place for wedding pictures that being able to spend a majority of the wedding day there was a treat.

Pictures Around Stan Hywet

The grounds of Stan Hywet are absolutely gorgeous. Its no surprise that it’s one of the most popular spots for pictures in Akron. Being able to spend extra time there having the wedding and reception on the grounds is so wonderful. It was important to Joey and Cory to have pictures in the English Garden. It is one of the most beautiful locations within this already beautiful location. So, we started at the ceremony site at the Overlook, worked our way down Birch Allee, onto the porch at the end of Birch Allee, and then took a tram over to the English Garden. There is never enough time on the grounds. I could spend an entire day there and still find great picture spots.

Wedding Reception at Stan Hywet

The wedding reception took place in the Carriage House at Stan Hywet. They, quite creatively, erected a tent like structure to expand the space and it is brilliant. Beach Boyz Entertainment provided the music and MC duties for the night and the dance floor was, literally, packed all night.
