Having their ceremony and wedding reception at Patterson Fruit Farm made Scott and Katie’s wedding day super easy for them. After they were dressed and ready, and had their first look, they would just hang out with their family and bridal party. It increased the fun of a wedding day
Wedding Ceremony at Patterson Fruit Farm
The location for wedding ceremonies at Patterson Fruit Farm couldn’t be more perfect for pictures. Set on a hill, the ceremony spot looks down on to what used to be the Orchard Hill Golf Course. For the time of day that the ceremony was scheduled, the lighting was perfect. Katie walked down a long path to meet her parents and they walked the rest of the way to the spot where Scott was waiting. All just perfect for wedding photography. This layout gives wedding photographers a ton of time to get a bunch of different angles and gives more time for the participants to emote, which is essential. After their wedding ceremony and some traditional wedding pictures and family pictures, it was time to party.
Wedding Reception
The reception itself took place in the Orchard Hills Center, which is right next to the ceremony space. After bridesmaid Courtney’s super fun wedding 7 years ago, which Katie was a bridesmaid, I knew that this would be fun. And it was! . From the entrance to the reception, to the speeches, to the dancing, all super fun. This was my first wedding reception at Patterson Fruit Farm and I was thoroughly impressed. A great space with friendly staff. And the food!! So good.
I am SO glad that I was able to participate in Scott and Katie’s day. I want to thank them, their wedding party and their families for being such and absolute joy to work with. Here are a few favorites from their ceremony and wedding reception at Patterson Fruit Farm.
