There was much to do before we headed to their wedding reception at Hotel Cleveland Autography Collection. First the ceremony at Parkside Church, which was beautiful. Afterward, we did some family pictures in the “Commons” area in the church, large room with a huge Christmas tree. Then it was outdoors!
Alex and Meredith wanted pictures outside. As I mentioned in my previous post, it was FREEZING out. And the first spot that I picked had to have been the most windy area in Cleveland. The cold usually doesn’t bother me, especially when I’m working, but it was stinking cold! Alex and Meredith were great sports, though. Up for anything and were fantastic in front of the camera. And in some of the most extreme conditions that I’ve ever worked.
When we arrived at the reception at the Hotel Cleveland, we did some fun pics in front of the hotel. As a matter of fact, I noticed a dramatic sunset happening, but the only angle was right in the middle of Superior Avenue. Well, out they went and we got some great shots, as you will see. They were so awesome the entire day.
One word comes to mind when I first saw the ballroom at Hotel Cleveland…WOW! It was gorgeous! Meredith’s mom put together some really fantastic wedding details. The staff at Hotel Cleveland was fantastic making sure that the room was perfect and that the guests were well cared for. Being Christmastime, the hotel was decked out in Christmas decorations.
Rock the House Entertainment handled the MC duties and were consummate professionals, as always. One of the many big moments at the reception came when they fired a confetti cannon. Holy moly!!! That was awesome! See the results below.
I want to thank Meredith, Alex and the Gray family for entrusting me to document this wonderful day. Their bridal party was super fun and easy to work with. Thank you to Lindsay London for making the ladies look their best. Rock the House was great as was the staff at the Hotel Cleveland Autograph Collection. Here are some favorite pictures from the second half of the day include the wedding ceremony Parkside Church and the gorgeous wedding reception.
