I was very excited for Joe and Nicole’s wedding reception at Ariel Pearl in Cleveland. Ariel Pearl is a new reception venue in Cleveland located in the old Brooklyn neighborhood, west of Cleveland.
Ariel Pearl
In what was the old Pearl Street Savings and Trust Bank, the event space touts “marble columns and floors, bank vaults, stone walls, large arched windows under an intricate decorative plasterwork ceiling with magnificent crystal chandeliers.” So, when Joe and Nicole told me that they were having their wedding reception there, I was very much looking forward to it.
Creative Wedding Pictures
After their wedding ceremony at St. Christopher and because of their well thought out timeline, we had more than enough time for creative wedding pictures in Ariel Pearl. A lot of times, because of the nature of wedding days, we often get very little time for creative pictures at great venues. We started in the old bank vault. I wanted to create interesting texture with the light and the vault door was perfect. Some pictures in Ariel’s ballroom and then the fireplace room. It was SO much fun. Joe and Nicole were so great in front of my camera. The Pearl is so elegant, I really wanted to feature the space as the secondary subject.
Party at the Ariel
Nicole’s cousin, Keith, a professional DJ, handled the MC and dj duties throughout the evening and did a great job. Farah Nour Floral & Event Design set up the room and it was absolutely gorgeous. I just can’t say enough about such great work. So many great wedding details.
I want to thank Joe and Nicole for allowing me the honor of documenting their wedding day. Their families were fantastic to work with and it was just a perfect day.
