Marianne wanted some wedding pictures in Akron Civic Theater. However, there wouldn’t be much time on her wedding day to do them there.
Her and her fiancé, Ryan, would be having there wedding at Stan Hywet. And, even though Akron Civic Theater is close, they wanted all the pictures on their wedding day at Stan Hywet, which made sense.
It is situations like this that my pre-ceremony bridal sessions are essential. I offer a photo session of the bride in her wedding dress before the wedding day. This is always done on the day of the bride’s hair and make-up trial. This ensures that everything is identical to the pictures on the wedding day so that when we put pictures in the album there is continuity. It also opens up the wedding day timeline by lessening the necessity of posed, creative wedding pictures.
Marianne is a former dancer. This was going thru my mind as we created her pictures. I was thinking of movement and lines and tried to get that to come across in her pictures in the Civic.
She did a great job and I’m so glad that we decided to do her bridal portraits at the Civic, in Akron, Ohio.
