Ron and Monica’s wedding day in Lakewood was much anticipated. Ron is a photographer himself, so the expectations were high. Especially after their engagement session, which went very well. Plus, they would be spending a portion of the wedding day as well as the entire evening at Vosh Nightclub in Lakewood.
Unique Wedding Venue
I LOVE working with clients that think outside of the box and choose cool locations. And using Vosh is definitely unique. Not your typical wedding reception venue, it allows the bride and groom to express themselves and be different. Monica started her day at Solstice Salon where she and her daughter, Gabrielle, had their hair done. Ron was at the Hilton Garden in at the Airport where he and his guys prepped for the day. It was in interesting morning for the guys with a lot of interaction, which is great for pictures. After some photos there I met Monica and her ladies back at Vosh.
Back to Vosh
Vosh has a great room for brides to prep. My assistant, Kristin, documented the happenings there until I arrived to photograph Monica finishing up her preparations. Being such a cool location, I tried to use the space as much as I could with the time that we had allowed for some creative pictures. We then hopped onto the limo bus and it was off to the wedding ceremony at Lakewood United Methodist Church.
Wedding Ceremony in Lakewood, Ohio
The wedding ceremony was intimate and beautiful. Ron and Monica wrote their own vows increasing the special nature of their ceremony. And, Ron presented Monica’s children, Dominic and Gabrielle, with a special gift during the ceremony which was touching. Lakewood United Methodist is a beautiful church. I hope to work there again, soon.
Here are just a few favorites from the first half of Ron and Monica’s wedding day in Lakewood.
