Jody and Allivia’s wedding day at Parker Barn had arrived. COVID and delayed their wedding in 2021 so this day was much anticipated. And Parker Barn is one of my favorite pastoral wedding venues in the Akron area.

Parker Barn Preparations

Allivia and her bridesmaids prepared for the day right at Parker Barn. Parker Barn has a bridal suite that makes it super convenient for brides to get their hair and make-up done right on location. It’s also a great place for pictures.

Jody and his groomsmen got ready at Residence Inn Fairlawn, which is only about 5 minutes from Parker Barn. Parker Barn has a space for the groom to get ready, but Jody wanted to get ready at the hotel. This did allow for more variety in their wedding preparatory pictures.

Wedding Ceremony at St. Vincent de Paul in Akron Ohio

It was important to everyone that the wedding ceremony take place in their church. And, although Parker Barn is a perfect location for an outdoor wedding, Allivia and Jody had their wedding ceremony at St. Vincent de Paul in Akron Ohio. After a beautiful ceremony, we went directly back to Parker Barn for the reception.
