It was finally Andy and Stephanie’s wedding day at Columbia Hills Country Club. Such a fun couple and both have a great appreciation for the arts and their photography 🙂 . This was my first wedding at Columbia Hills so there was added excitement for me.
Wedding Morning Preparations
Andy and Stephanie decided to spend their entire day at the Country Club. They were having their wedding and reception there so it didn’t make sense to leave. I mean, it IS a country club so there was more than enough space. I liked how they both prepared in the locker rooms, giving the start of their wedding day a bit more authenticity. They both have used the locker rooms, being golfers themselves, so it was an added benefit and they were completely comfortable. The hair and make-up professionals came to the location which made the morning super convenient for Stephanie and her ladies.
Creative Wedding Pictures
Not having to travel around gave us more than enough time for creative wedding pictures. I tried to utilize the country club and think of ways for the wedding pictures that, maybe, hadn’t been thought of. The weather turned out perfect so we spent a great deal of time outside on the golf course.
There WAS a slight chance of rain on this day so, rather than take a risk, which is not advisable on a wedding day, Andy and Stephanie decided to have their wedding ceremony on the patio of the country club. This ensured that, rain or shine, everyone would stay comfortable, and they did. The staff at Columbia Hills went above and beyond getting everything perfect. There was even lemonade and cookies!
Here are just a few of my favorite pictures from the first half of their wedding day at Columbia Hill Country Club.
Thank you, Sandra! I’d love to see your daughter’s pictures. It helps to have great clients. 🙂
