Andy and Taylor were to have their wedding ceremony at Old Stone Church in Cleveland. Old Stone Church is one of the oldest churches in Cleveland. Big, old and beautiful.
They began their day at the Hyatt Regency, which is connected to the Cleveland Arcade. This was convenient since we could do pictures inside the Arcade after they were dressed and ready. Andy and Taylor both prepared for their wedding day at the Hyatt. I always recommend that couples get ready at or near where they will be spending their wedding night. It makes it super convenient for them. They wake up on their wedding day and relax. No rushing around.
I love doing wedding pictures in the Cleveland Arcade. It is one of Cleveland’s truly iconic spots for photography and weddings. Located right in the heart of downtown Cleveland, it is a popular spot for pictures not only because of the beauty and architecture, but also because it is surrounded by other fantastic places for pictures. Cleveland East Fourth Street and all that it entails; The Corner Ally; Cleveland House of Blues; The Q”. All within walking distance. And the fact that it’s connected to the Hyatt shoots it into the stratosphere for convenience.
The Old Stone Church, or First Presbyterian Church, as it is officially known, is absolutely gorgeous. According to the website Cleveland Historical, The Old Stone Church is “The church is the oldest standing structure on Public Square and is home to the second oldest religious organization in Cleveland. Origins of the church’s congregation date back to meetings of the Union Sunday School held on the second-floor of Cleveland’s first log cabin courthouse in 1819.”
Here are a few of my favorites from the creative pictures at the Cleveland Arcade and their wedding ceremony at Old Stone Church.
