I was very much looking forward to Dylan and Becky’s wedding at Truss Cleveland. According to their website, “Truss is a brand-new rooftop venue on the ninth floor of INTRO Cleveland, offering contemporary space with nostalgic inspiration. Available for private events year-round, Truss has a fully staffed in-house catering team, a state-of-the-art commercial kitchen, and a restaurant-quality bar. A dedicated ground-floor lobby leads to private elevators that open up to over 10,000 usable square feet. With a main ballroom large enough to seat 300, a pre-function gallery for cocktailing, a quiet lounge, a VIP room clad head-to-toe in Gucci wall covering, and an enormous north-facing terrace with sweeping panoramic city and lake views, Truss is Cleveland’s newest, most elevated event experience.”
Getting ready at Truss
A huge asset at Truss is that the bride and the groom can both prepare for their day there. They both have their own space for wedding day preparations which makes their day super convenient. According to their webpage, “As soon as the elevators open, stunning views of Cleveland’s west side are framed by floor-to-ceiling windows. A double-sided eight-foot linear fireplace set in an amber fluted glass wall gives your guests front row seats to the kitchen. Blackened steel wall panels continue in this space, accented by bronze inserts and warm backlighting. Tucked away from sight is the private Green Room – bathed in beautiful southern light and clad head-to-toe with Gucci® wallpaper, a cosmetic vanity and its own private restroom.”
Once they were ready, we explored the space the best that we could. Becky was a little under the weather but she was a trooper and we got some great wedding day portraits at Truss.
Rooftop Ceremony
The ceremony took place on the rooftop of Truss. A spectacular view of Cleveland served as the backdrop to Dylan and Becky’s wedding vows. A gorgeous, sunny day was just the icing on the cake.
