I had never documented a wedding at Patterson Fruit Farm. I was super excited that I would be able to work there with Scott and Katie. Katie was a bridesmaid in Mark and Courtney’s wedding some years back (Hi Mark and Courtney!) and I would looking forward to her wedding. I knew it would be a fun group and a fun day.
Getting Ready for at Patterson Fruit Farm Wedding
Scott and Katie planned a perfect day. They both would be getting ready right at Patterson Fruit Farm. In the same building, actually. So this made it super convenient for everyone. They had their entire wedding party with them. This allowed them to support Scott and Katie and it allowed me to get a lot of interaction and group photos.
First Look
Scott and Katie decide to have a first look. This allowed us to get a lot more pictures around Patterson Fruit Farm and enabled them to spend more time together on their wedding day. A first look also eliminated a bit of stress since the excitement of seeing each other, which leads to the stress, culminates at the first look. This makes the rest of the day a little easier.
We had Katie walk down the cart path to where Scott was waiting for her. This was very dramatic and made for some fantastic wedding pictures. They were very comfortable interacting in front of the camera. I think that this shows in the pictures.
