Josh and Heather told me that they wanted their wedding at Dock’s Beach House to be laid back and casual. They would be having their wedding on the beach at Dock’s and wanted to wave convention. For a summer wedding on the beach, this was the perfect approach

Dock’s Beach House Wedding

Dock’s Beach House is a venue in mid-western Ohio in Port Clinton. Port Clinton accommodates vacationers looking to spend quality time on Lake Erie. Dock’s specializes in weddings and receptions on the beach. Right next door is a hotel which makes it perfect for those planning on having their wedding there. Super convenient for wedding guests, as well. This is where Josh and Heather did some of their preparations for their wedding day.

Wedding in the Sand

Sandals and beach shoes were the footwear of the day. Absolute perfect weather combined with the perfect spot, technically, for wedding pictures, I was able to create some pictures that really reflected the summer wedding day. As planned, their ceremony was very laid back. It made it extra special that Josh and Heather’s children made up the wedding party.

Wedding Reception at Dock’s Beach House

The “wedding reception” was more of a casual hang out. Nothing formal except a cake cutting. Josh and Heather just hung out with their guests as they mingled and enjoyed sangria. The highlight was a fire circle where everyone relaxed, chatted and the kids made s’mores. Such a great day.
