I was really looking forward to Tyler’s Akron Art Museum senior portrait session. We would have full access to the art museum since his mom works there, so I really wanted to take advantage of the space. Having a senior portraits in the winter can be challenging but they are always unique. Being able to do the majority of the senior portraits in the museum made it a lot easier.
We made sure to go thru the entire museum to find the most interesting pieces (to me anyway). We had to be mindful that any use of flash could degrade the artwork so I used a constant light source (video lights) to light Tyler.
Having the senior portraits in winter kept inspiring me in shades of blue (Ice maybe?). Tyler did a great job throughout. I want to thank him and his mother for allowing me to be the one to take his senior portraits. Here are just a few of my favorites from the Akron Art Museum senior portrait session.
