I was SUPER excited about Tim and Alyssa’s Akron Art Museum wedding reception. I mean, it was at the Akron Art Museum! Such a unique wedding reception venue. Because it was a December wedding, we decided to have them see each other before the wedding ceremony at The Chapel in Green.
Having them do this accomplishes a number of things. First, it helps calm them. They are nervous before they see each other but after they do, some of those nerves go away. Secondly, it enables us to get a lot of the obligatory wedding photos completed so that they have more time after the ceremony to be with friends and family. And, because it was a winter wedding, it gets dark early. We can get any creative wedding photos finished before it gets dark out. Although we still do wedding pictures at night.
The staff at the Akron Art Museum did an awesome job creating a unique wedding experience. It is such a unique wedding space. I had a great time there.
