I had to make special concessions to have this senior photo session in downtown Cleveland. Khaliyah is a Class of 2020 senior. COVID-19 has, pretty much, decimated the Class of 2020 senior year. All extracurricular activities were cancelled. All sporting events. Proms. It’s been awful for this year’s high school seniors. So, I offered her an additional photo session.
Senior Pictures in Cleveland
Khaliyah’s first senior session was at The Cleveland Museum of Art and Wade Oval Park. We wanted the second session to be completely different. So we decided on downtown Cleveland. There is an abandoned warehouse that I use all the time and we met there. However, it was boarded up and fenced in. No more access. But we still did some great pictures there. We then moved to the west side near the West Side Market to get some sunset pictures with Cleveland as our backdrop. These pictures turned out great (although the mosquitos were murder!).
Senior Pictures in Playhouse Square
We did a few senior photos around Cleveland Public Square and we ended the night in Playhouse Square. Khaliyah wanted pictures in front of the already iconic chandelier at the center of Playhouse Square. She had a gorgeous prom dress that she didn’t get to wear, since they cancelled her prom, and we got just enough pictures before it started to rain.
I want to thank Khaliyah and her mom for allowing me the honor of photographing her for her senior year. Here are a few of my favorites from her senior photo session in downtown Cleveland.
