As I mentioned in my last post, Adam and Jordan planned an outdoor wedding ceremony. Since we were dependent on the weather, we were blessed that the weather was beautiful all day.
Ceremony and Reception in One Location
The ceremony site was set up just outside the reception site. This is convenient for obvious reasons. Guest could walk right into cocktail hour while we finish up some family pictures. Adam and Jordan wanted their wedding pictures to reflect the outdoors. Adam told me “I’m as country as country gets.” so we made sure that all of their wedding photos reflected his love for the outdoors.
Fun
Their wedding reception had a lot of fun details. My favorite was the cheesecakes (YUMMY!), one of which they cut for their “cake cutting.” I’m seeing this more and more as many wedding traditions are being customized to fit the personalities or desires of brides and grooms. The night ended with a dramatic sparkler send off.
Thank you
I want to thank Adam and Jordan for allowing me the honor of documenting their wedding day. It was an emotional day for everyone, even me :/ . As I mentioned, I’ve know Jordan for a long time so I’m so glad that I could be a part of her wedding day. I want to thank Jordan’s parents, Matt and Karen, for helping Jordan get me. Thank you to Adam’s family for being so great to work with.
Here are a few favorites from their outdoor wedding ceremony and reception.
