New Wedding Venue in Northeast Ohio // Cleveland Photographer

I had the opportunity to photograph a new wedding venue in Northeast Ohio. Dieu Est Amor, is a wedding space in Hanoverton Ohio, owned by fellow photographer and entrepreneur, Jamie Buehler. I have been doing work on constructing the website for the venue and we needed photographs, and I was excited to see the space.

Wedding Venue History

Dieu Est Amor is a new wedding venue in Northeast Ohio located in Hanoverton, Ohio. Built in 1888 it was originally a schoolhouse. A unique space, it is filled with exposed brick and wood beams. Large windows provide constant natural light. On this day, it was sunny and bright outside, so we took full advantage of that. Sunlight that shone thru the large windows was used directly and indirectly as it bounced off of the hardwood floors and walls. And I have to say, it was a dream to photograph. Such a unique space, the elements that I enjoy for great pictures were all there.

Document Wedding Space

Our goal was to feature the space, so the majority of the images contain a lot of area around the subjects, which happened to be newly married couple Austin and Jessica, who were fantastic. It was exceptionally helpful to have Jamie there so we could get, not only what inspired me, but what she would need to market the wedding space. I am very happy with what we ended up with and I’m hopeful that these images will help the venue. Here are just a few favorites.
