Jc and Abby’s Firestone Country Club Reception would be a little different from the wedding receptions at Firestone that I’ve documented in the past. They were having their reception in the Lodge at Firestone. The Lodge has a totally different vibe than the ballroom. More rustic, it gives clients of Firestone a choice.
The weather throughout the day was rainy on and off. Although I prefer photographing wedding couples in full sun, a cloudy day presents many opportunities for dramatic wedding pictures. One of my favorites from the entire day took place near the end of the night in pouring rain (see it below).
The reception was designed and implemented with Firestone Country Club and Eileen Benson Event Coordinator. Tasteful and intimate, Eileen always does a superb job coordinating receptions. Beach Boyz Entertainment handled the DJ and MC duties. As always they were complete pros.
Jc and Abby were wonderful to work with. I want to thank them for allowing me to photograph their wedding day.
