Firestone Reception // Cleveland Wedding Photographers

Before their Firestone Reception, Reid and Michelle had an awesome photo itinerary that they put together. We would do some photos in the Chapel Akron, then we would head to The Lehner Gardens at The Akron Zoo, then back to O’Neil House, and then, finally, end up doing wedding pictures on the golf course at Firestone Country Club. I couldn’t have planned it better myself.

Wedding Pictures at Akron Zoo

The Akron Zoo allows wedding parties to do pictures in the Lehner Gardens. The Lehner Gardens at the Akron Zoo opened in 2003 and has over 7,000 native plants!!  When you enter, there is a beautiful trellis that leads to an even more beautiful pathway. We walked along the pathway and allowed Reid and Michelle to enjoy the surroundings and each other.

More Pictures at O’Neil House

After the wedding pictures at the Akron Zoo, we went back to O’Neil House. The plan was to do some wedding photos of just Reid and Michelle, but we took the opportunity to do some wedding party pictures right in front of O’Neil House. We could have spent our entire time there. Such a beautiful location.

Firestone Reception

I’ve done many wedding receptions at Firestone Country Club over the years and I always look forward to it. The staff takes care of the wedding guests. The venue is always impeccably set.  And the golf course is a joy to photograph. Rock the House Entertainment kept the wedding guests entertained throughout the night and did a fantastic job. Just a perfect day.

I want to thank Reid and Michelle for entrusting me with their big day. I would also like to thank Michelle’s parents for being so awesome to work with. It’s been quite a journey planning this day and it was alway enjoyable working with them. Finally, I want to thank Reids family, the wedding party and the staff at Firestone. Here are a few favorites from the second half of their day.
