When Sean and Yifan told me that they wanted their engagement pictures in New York City, I was ecstatic. Not only because I had never been there (SERIOUSLY!) but also because I knew that we would be able to get great pictures around NYC.

Day One of NYC Engagement Pictures

Sean and Yifan figured, since they were bringing me in from Cleveland to do their engagement pictures in New York City, they should take full advantage. So, we scheduled three days of engagement photography. Sean had a full schedule of locations planned out so that we could get locations that would, not only make good engagement pics in NYC, but also reflect their love of the city.

The first day, we started in the evening at the Dumbo Bridge. One of the more popular locations for pictures in New York City, it was the perfect place to start. A gorgeous stone lined street with the Manhattan Bridge in the background. Very popular among tourists and locals alike. We then headed to Squibb Park for some pictures of the skyline and the walkway. This was an excellent start to what turned out to be an awesome weekend.
