It was a brisk day for Joe and Danielle’s engagement pictures in Hudson ohio. They will be getting married in August and having their wedding reception at the Sheraton in Cuyahoga Falls.
Why I Include an Engagement Session in My Service
Doing an engagement session helps me get to know my clients better. Spending time with them is definitely beneficial to all of us on their wedding day. I know more about them. My clients get comfortable being in front on my camera. I can educate them as to my approach and how to make their wedding day run smoothly. An engagement session is always included in my wedding photography service for these reasons.
Sunny Day for Engagement Pictures
Even though it was brisk and chilly with snow on the ground it was a beautifully sunny day. I much prefer full sun for my photography than anything else. We utilized it to the fullest, today. We were able to get some unique engagement pictures by chasing the light and using abstract shadows and texures. Walking around downtown Hudson and around the Hudson Library, Joe and Danielle were fantastic. Being able to see how much they cared for each other was easy and this made their engagement images that much better. Engagement pictures are, for the most part, almost always posed in some way. Unlike a wedding day, when there is a lot of activity and opportunities for candid pictures, images taken during an engagement session are mostly set up. Being able to make these set up shots look natural takes time and a great couple. Joe and Danielle pulled it off beautifully. I know that their wedding day will be great.
Here are some of my favorites from their session.
