Rain was, literally, falling from the sky when I met Jimmy and Regina for their engagement picture at Lake Erie. They wanted pictures on the lake so we met at Voinovich Park in downtown Cleveland. As soon as I pulled into the parking lot at Voinovich Park, the rain stopped. It was a sign of great things to come.

Engagement Pictures at Lake Erie at Voinovich Park

Voinovich Park is one of the most popular locations in downtown Cleveland. Not only for pictures, but for different activities. There is the harbor, restaurants, the rock hall, the science museum. A ton of things to do in the immediate area. What makes it so great for pictures is it proximity to Lake Erie and its gorgeous view of downtown Cleveland. One of the best.

Pictures at Night

We arranged their engagement session so that we could do some pictures during the day. Jimmy’s parents of a classic Cadillac so we used that during this period. Then we would do some pictures on the lake at sunset.  As we were getting photos of the skyline of Cleveland, a rainbow appeared. I tried my best to get a great shot of it the Jimmy and Regina that made sense. It was only there for a few minutes. I think we did ok. After the sun went down, we would then finish up with some night engagement pictures. For night pictures in that area, there is no better place than East Fourth Street.
