Chris and Beth wanted their engagement photos in Chagrin Falls. Being from the area, it was important that their images reflected their hometown. A popular spot for pictures in Chagrin Falls is right in downtown. We also went to the metropark to get some creative engagement pictures in the Chagrin River. They will be having their wedding and reception at Mayfield Country Club next year. After this photo session, I am definitely looking forward to that day.
Sunny Day for Engagement Photography
It was a nice sunny day, which I always love. Direct sunlight always gives me more dramatic pictures. It also allows me to utilize the open sky showing the beautiful blue that is ever present. We walked down Main Street in Chagrin Falls looking for interesting patches of light and textures. We would duck into a small walkway, use the main park area, around the gazebo (but no gazebo shots, thank you). Chagrin Falls is one of my favorite area’s for engagement pictures and wedding pictures.
Engagement Pictures in the Chagrin River
To give their pictures variety, we then proceeded to the Metropark and the Chagrin River. Chris and Beth thought it would be fun to take off their shoes and get right in the river. It was such a beautiful day, this made perfect sense. This was fun for me because getting unique and out of the ordinary pictures is what I love most. If I can provide my clients with something that hadn’t had thought of, and go way beyond their expectations, especially during their engagement session, they get more excited for their wedding day.
Beth and Chris were fantastic on this day. Their wedding and reception at Mayfield Country Club should be outstanding. If their engagement pictures are any indication, I know that it certainly will be. Here are a few of my favorites.
