Cleveland Museum of Art engagement pictures. What better place to do them. I met Kristy and Kyle there the day after a snowstorm and one of our goals was engagement pictures with snow. We couldn’t have timed their session any more perfectly.
Bridesmaid Becomes a Bride
I know Kristy through other weddings that I’ve photographed. Three weddings, actually (she’s popular). So, she was already well versed in my approach. I met Kyle the day of the engagement photos. Even though Kristy has been in multiple weddings that I’ve documented, and she knows me and is comfortable in front of my camera, it’s important that I get to know Kyle and that he is comfortable, as well.
This is a very important and an essential element on their wedding day. I am going to be with them, literally, the entire day. If they are to look natural I need them to be comfortable with my presence. That is why the engagement session is so important and why it’s always included in my standard wedding coverage.
Pictures at Cleveland Museum of Art
We wanted to pictures with snow. And I love creating artistic pictures. What better location for these pictures than the Cleveland Museum of Art. Right next to Wade Oval Park, this location is one of my favorite locations for pictures in Cleveland. It never really looks the same way twice, for me.
Remarkably, after the big snow storm the night before, we had a nice sunny afternoon. I used direct sunlight as our main light source. When we made our way into downtown Cleveland, there was beautiful sunlight reflecting off of the buildings that we utilized. I was very happy with the results.
Here are just a could of favorites from their Cleveland Museum of Art engagement pictures and downtown Cleveland.
