Cleveland Engagement Photography // Downtown Cleveland Photography

Any time that I want great Cleveland engagement photography, one good place to start is Voinovich Park in downtown Cleveland. That is where I met Brian and Kelly for their engagement photos.

Voinovich Park Engagement Photography

With one of the best views of downtown Cleveland to the south, and Lake Erie to the north, Voinovich Park offers a great variety when taking pictures in Cleveland. I always like to start about 2 hours before twilight, since the direction of sunlight is perfect. The now iconic Cleveland sign is a must for any pictures in Cleveland, but the view of downtown is spectacular. We decided to do what we could there and then move to East Fourth Street with our ultimate goal to do some photos in Playhouse Square.

East Fourth Street Engagement Pictures

East Fourth Street is another location that is used a TON by local photographers doing Cleveland engagement photography. I like to do pics on East 4th right at twilight or after dark. We did them right at twilight and it was the perfect time. Afterwards, we made our way down Euclid Avenue and Playhouse Square

Pictures in Playhouse Square

Brian and Kelly’s ultimate goal was to get pictures in Playhouse Square. The best time to do these are at night. We started just as it we getting dark. A beautiful night for a stroll down Euclid, it was a great time. They were so wonderful, especially considering that they had been in front of my camera for at least two hours before this. I am looking forward to their October wedding in Cleveland. Here are a few of my favorites from their session.
