John and Allison were having their wedding reception at Firestone Country Club in Akron, Ohio and that is where Allison started her day. Getting ready in one of the suites at Firestone made sense since that is where they would end up at the end of the day. This was also advantageous because it allowed us to get some great wedding pictures without too much chaos going on.
Firestone Wedding Reception
They had their wedding reception set up beautifully. Red uplights complimented that room. Every details was elegant and tasteful. And they left enough space for their guest to move around easily. A wedding reception at Firestone Country Club usually means wedding pictures out on the green. Although we did do some there, the best pictures were in unusual places. One picture that I did of Allison used a canvas picture that we pulled out of one of the closet’s in the suite. Another was an abandoned warehouse in downtown Akron. Making sure that we didn’t fall thru any of the holes in the floor was the most challenging aspect of that wedding picture location.
Great Reception Staff
Christian and the entire wedding staff at Firestone Country Club did a fantastic job. As I stated, it was a very elegant wedding reception. All involved had a terrific time. Here are a few of my favorite pictures from the evening.
