Joe and Danielle’s wedding in Cuyahoga Falls is a great example of what can be achieved in this town of just over 49,000 residents that is a short distance south of Cleveland and north of Akron. This is still a favorite wedding from the recent past.
Bustling Area for Pictures
Home to Blossom Music Center, Cuyahoga Falls’ most popular spot for wedding pictures has to be the Falls River Square. With its amphitheater, boardwalk and plethora of businesses, the area offers a lot, but especially on wedding days.
Joe and Danielle’s day started at the Sheraton Suites Akron Cuyahoga Falls, which sits right on the Cuyahoga River. Getting ready in the hotel where they stayed the night before made the start of their wedding day completely convenient for them and makes for a more convenient wedding day timeline. They get up and get ready for their day. No rushing around. No stress. Most of their early wedding pictures take place right in the Sheraton. It is standard for us to do straight forward, traditional family pictures so doing them here was best. We do try to mix up the family images, though 🙂 .
Beautiful Day for a Wedding in Cuyahoga Falls
It was a gorgeous, sunny day. I LOVE using direct sunlight in my wedding images. It creates such great contrast and lighting drama. I much prefer sunny days for pictures. I used the direct sunlight for the wedding details, the bride and groom portraits, wedding party pictures. I just love direct sunlight (have I mentioned that, already?). After their wedding ceremony, we decided to do a lot of their creative wedding pictures with their bridal party in Falls River Square so that we were close the Sheraton. That way, we were close to the reception site, which made sure that we stayed on schedule. We decided to pay a visit to the Cashmere Cricket, a great little bar in the Square. The bridal party could get a drink and I could get some unique and fun wedding images.
Wedding Reception at Sheraton Cuyahoga Falls
The day ended where it began. The wedding reception was at the Sheraton Cuyahoga Falls. The Sheraton always does a good job and has for years. It is one of the best locations for wedding receptions in Cuyahoga Falls and Akron and I always love working there. They had so many great reception details. I especially loved their chair signs.
Joe and Danielle couldn’t have been better clients. I am so fortunate to work with such a wonderful couple. Their families and wedding party were equally as great to work with. I want to thank them all for being so great and allowing me to document this fantastic day.
