So now it was off to Wade Oval Park for their first look and then their wedding ceremony at St. Coleman in Cleveland. Having a “first look’ or seeing each other before the wedding ceremony has many benefits. First, once the the bride and groom see each other there is less stress and nerves. Secondly, they can get a lot of their “wedding pictures” out of the way. Family pictures, creative pictures ect.
Wedding Day at Wade Oval Park
As I mentioned in my previous post, Emma and Ej decided to have their first look at Wade Oval Park. I was able to ride along with Emma to Wade Oval. It was fun seeing her anticipation build the closer we got to the park. It peaked with her sprinting to Ej when she saw him. It was so fun!
Afterward, we would make a brief stop at Case Western Reserve University for some pictures. Ej and Emma met while attending so it was important to all of us to get a few pictures there. Then it was on to the Cleveland Arcade. Emma really wanted pictures there, so we prioritized the it. Cleveland Arcade is one of the most photographed locations in Cleveland so I kept everything simple there. The we scurried too St. Coleman.
St. Coleman Church Wedding Ceremony
St. Coleman is a beautiful church on the west side of Cleveland. I photographed Ryan and Mary’s wedding ceremony there in 2016 so it was nice to get back there. The addition of Fillipino traditions made their ceremony extra special. Once the ceremony was finished it was immediately off to their wedding reception at Windows on the River. I will post images from their reception in my next post.
Here are just a few favorites from their first look at Wade Oval Park and their wedding ceremony at St. Coleman.
